The first three songs on this tape aren’t as impressive as the latter. Perhaps by design, starting with the fourth track Interlude (morning) a nice light begins to rise, albeit unresolved and rather abbreviated. Made in Sweden, it’s Scandinavian-ishly sparse and self-reflective.
The cover art for the EP and also the different images included with each of the songs therein, reference landscape, and throughout the mix succeeds at turning the mirror over and spinning it round.
